- The refund policy applies to all terminated students for any reason by either party, including student decision, parent or legal guardian (if student is a minor), and program cancellation.
- Applicants not accepted by the school shall be refunded all monies paid to the school.
- A student should notify the school of their withdrawal from school through written notification. The ‘formal cancellation date’ will be determined by the postmark on the written notification, the date said notification is delivered to the school in person, or 14 days after the last day of attendance, whichever is earlier. Failures of a student to notify the school Director in writing of the student’s intent to withdraw may delay a refund of tuition to the student. (Section 5002 (3) of the Education Law).
- If a student has failed to attend classes for a period of 14 calendar days, the school shall send by regular mail a termination notice.
- If a student cancels his/her enrollment more than one week (7 days) after signing the enrollment agreement, but prior to, or during the first week of classes, a refund of all monies paid to the school less the non-refundable application fee of $100.00 will be made.
- The student kit and book charges are non-refundable after they are issued to and accepted by the student.
1000 hour Cosmetology Full-time Schedule Tuition Cost
The Cosmetology full-time Day schedule is divided into two (2) terms of 16 and 15 weeks each. Total tuition liability is limited to the quarter during which the student was terminated and any previous quarters completed. Tuition liability is divided by the number of quarters in the program for full time students. Total tuition liability is limited to the quarter during which the student withdrew or was terminated, and any previous quarters completed. The refund calculation is based on the week of the students last day of attendance.

The Cosmetology part-time Night schedule is divided into three (3) terms of 17, 17 and 16 weeks each. Total tuition liability is limited to the term during which the student was terminated and any previous quarters completed.

A student who cancels within seven (7) days of signing the enrollment agreement but before instruction begins receives all monies returned with the exception of the non-refundable application fee. Thereafter, a student will be liable for:
- The non-refundable application fee plus
- The cost of any textbooks or supplies plus
- Tuition liability as of the student’s last date of physical attendance. Tuition liability is determined by the percentage of the program offered to the student.
- Any monies due to the applicant or student shall be refunded within 45 days of the date on which the student withdraws from the program, as defined above.
- The school does not participate in any teach-out plans with other institutions.
- This refund policy applies to tuition and fees charged in the enrollment agreement.
- The student is entitled to a full refund if the school closes.
